Black Swans, rare in most parts of the world, are quite common in Southern Australia. Metaphoric references to black swans have been used in contrast to white swans, long before they were actually known to exist. Black or White – Swans are beautifully graceful creatures. Perhaps we are given seven graces for the seven gifts of the Holy Spirit, which, we receive when we allow the Holy Spirit to dwell within us.
