The Way Of Love
I believe that our first relationship is with God. When things in life don’t work out, sometimes I forget who God is. It’s in those times when I read 1 Corinthians 13: 4-13. Eugene Peterson titles this passage “The Way of Love.” I like to call it “The Way of God” and read it in this way to help remind me:
God is patient; God is kind; God is not envious or boastful or arrogant or rude. God does not insist on its own way; God is not irritable or resentful; God does not rejoice in wrongdoing, but rejoices in the truth. God bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. God never ends.
God is Love
