Making Straight The Way

When you come together, each one has a hymn, a lesson, a revelation, a tongue, or an interpretation.  1 Corinthians 14:20-40  Have salt in yourselves , and be at peace with one another.  Mark 9:43-50  Once, I preached a sermon with a specific concept in mind and someone approached to thank me for how I spoke to something that was going on within them. The odd thing is that I couldn’t connect the message I thought I had prepared with what they said they heard. Nevertheless they were pleased, so I was pleased. In each of us the one Spirit has it’s own work to do. It’s not for us to know how or when the Spirit moves, but to speak God’s Word in truth and simply allow God to use us as a vehicle for the Spirit to make its own way through to those who hear.
