Going Deeper

…unless your righteousness exceeds that of the scribes and Pharisees…. Matthew 5:17-20  While speaking to a TriYoga instructor I was fascinated to learn that the fundamental movements expands awareness which allows energy to flow.  Regardless of how advanced you become, the movements encourage the practitioner to go deeper. The commandments given by God are our fundamental starting point. To know and follow them, is a very good thing, but ultimately they should also encourage us to go deeper. To achieve the knowledge of the scribes and the Pharisees is a tall order. However, I believe that the sincere fundamental basics of the commandments; God’s love for us and how we love one another, should encourage us to go deeper. Regardless of how much you know, we are called to respect the dignity – the state or quality of being worthy – of every human being. There is much to be accomplished in this life. Yet this one thing to be accomplished – Sincerity and Love, still manages to elude. In our journey through this kingdom, the winds will blow and the waves will roll. As we go deeper in our knowledge of God’s sincerity and love through Christ, know that we rise above the even greatest of storms.
