Broken Open

There is a difference between being broken down and broken open. To be broken down is to allow ourselves to be defeated. To be broken open gives us opportunity towards victory. God will use us in that open brokenness. In  fact, I believe God desires it. A heart that is broken open is ready to be filled with God’s grace. Physically, my flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart (spirit) and my portion for ever (Psalm 73:26).
