Equipped For Every Good Work

Elijah : Do you know the Torah?

Elisha: No.

Elijah: Why not?

Elisha: I don’t have enough brains for studying the Torah?

Elijah: When I came along, I found you ploughing. Where did you get the understanding to plough?

Elisha: God.

Elijah: The same God who gave you understanding to plough, has also given you sufficient understanding and brains for study. Come with me and I will teach you (chabad.org).
