We Are Treasured

His mother treasured all these things in her heart. Luke 2:41-52  If you’ve ever been to Israel you know that the road from Jerusalem to Nazareth is not a short one. After traveling three days Mary and Joseph weren’t very pleased with their son Jesus, but how can you not love a child who desires to be in God’s house? Like most parents I still have items that belong to my sons when they were children and gifts they made for me on special holidays. These small treasures completely overshadow those times they were disobedient as children occasionally are. Even more so, God treasures us in the same way Mary treasured Jesus, and in the way we treasure our own children. Thank you God for your Love for us over shadows our moments of disobedience in the flesh and in your hands we are treasured.
